Research

Written with the sector, not just for it.

Our content starts with the people doing the work. Before a course is written we gather current statutory guidance, inspection frameworks and sector research, then test what we find against the experience of practitioners in social care, education and children's services.

  1. 1 Statutory and regulatory sources. Current guidance, inspection frameworks and published standards for every sector we serve.
  2. 2 Practitioner input. Registered managers, social workers, foster carers and early years leads review scope and language before development begins.
  3. 3 Learner evidence. Assessment data, feedback and completion patterns from our own platform show us where understanding breaks down.

Advisory board

The Training Standards & Advisory Board

Our Training Standards & Advisory Board brings together independent, experienced practitioners and qualified sector specialists who provide professional insight, guidance and constructive challenge to the training we develop.

Working alongside our research, content development and quality assurance teams, Board members help ensure our training reflects current UK requirements, recognised good practice and the realities of working within each sector.

The Board also advises on emerging training needs, reviews quality standards and recommends improvements to existing and future courses. This collaboration ensures that while we embrace research and AI-assisted technology, real-world professional knowledge and human judgement remain central to the training we provide.
